Switching domain to SQSP from a hosted wordpress site

Hello,

I currently have a domain purchased through Domains.com, and I also purchased Google workspace through them and have my custom email set up.

I was originally attempting to create my website on Wordpress, and my website is currently by Hostinger. I have a Wordpress theme installed, so if you visit my web address there is a site up, but it's not completed.

I would like everything to be created through Squarespace now, so can anyone advise if it is a straightforward process to 'disconnect' from Hostinger/Wordpress?

Also, if Google workspace was purchased via Domains.com is it still going to work independently of that, if I were to connect/transfer my domain to Squarespace?

Last question: is it worth transferring the domain to Squarespace, or should I just stick to connecting?

Hi Nina 

I’m facing the same issue right now. Hostinger can’t hel me further and SS has no information about it or an accessible customer service that can help me out. 
 

I wonder if you could fix it and how. 
I will be glad to hear something about the issue.
