chrisjacobie
Site URL: https://www.jacquireking.com/discography Hi, I'd like to be able to create a table like this on my site. I can't seem to find it in the regular blocks and thought it might require some kind of custom code. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks! -Chris Link to comment
creedon
SS does not have a table block. Here are some options. Use Google Sheets. You can create a sheet, share it, and embed the sheet in your site. It's pretty easy but you have little control of how it looks compared to a totally custom table. Use a table generator. There are many available online. Here is one < https://www.tablesgenerator.com/html_tables >. Which one you might pick depends on your needs. Once generated you put the code in a code block. Learn HTML and create your table by hand. This would also go in a code block. EarvinChong 1 Find my contributions useful? Please like, upvote, mark my answer as the best ( solution ), and see my profile. Thanks for your support! chrisjacobie
Thanks, @creedon. Can you tell how this site is doing it based on the source code? creedon 1 Link to comment
creedon
I do not know how the table was constructed. But I can tell you that it is standard HTML in a code block. So it was either generated or constructed by hand. Your best bet is to probably get started with a table generator and then take it from there. EarvinChong 1 Find my contributions useful? EarvinChong
Just adding a resource to this post, there's a Squarespace plugin called Table block plugin that adds a Table block in the block menu so you can add tables without coding knowledge. 🔲 Squarewebsites Plugins: Solutions for duplicating websites, custom filters, custom tables, custom maps and more.
