Adding a new product variant to ALL products in the store simultaneously?

Hello,

I have over 100 photographic prints available for sale on my online store in various sizes (A4,A3,A2).

I would like to introduce a new size option (A5).

However I don't want to manually add this new size option to each photograph product page manually over 100 times.

Is there a way to add a new product variant (size) to ALL products simultaneously?

No, but the easiest way to do this is to export your products as a CSV, edit them to include new rows for the A5 variants, and then import the CSV to bulk edit them.

If I do this those rows in the CSV would be missing a SKU number and variant ID. Is that likely to cause an error?
