Wexley template cover page images

Just working on redesigning my site - I'm using Wexley template - trying to have a cover page with a number of images that scroll automatically - all works more or less ok but the images appear to have a reduced opacity and are not displayed as uploaded..  Any suggestions as to why this is (probably a function of the template I guess) and how I can get around it and display them as I intended rather than how Squarespace think they should look.

By default, the images will have an overlay to ensure the text elements can be seen clearly. You can change or remove the overlay using the settings in Site Styles. Remove the Auto Overlay Color and set the Custom Overlay Color to a transparent one:

Hi Paul - thanks for prompt reply - I'd already tried similar but when I head to 'site styles ' it says there are no tweaks available for this selection..  😞

Yes, I've seen that bug too. You'll need to contact Squarespace Customer Care about that one. 🥲
