Stripe and Square both don't work for South Africa based companies and very few people in SA use Paypal. The most widely used payment processor in SA is PayFast, is there a way to use them please? It supports Stripe and PayPal as payment processors, and neither can be used by a business based in South Africa. Other payment methods like Payfast are not supported and unlikely to be supported in the near future (Q1 2022- Q1 2024). If you're desperate for a workaround to use Payfast, this guide may help: Using Squarespace in South Africa with PayFast, Netcash or Rave. Did this help? Vincent89
its actually crazy how much Squarespace pushes marketing through YouTubers yet no mention of this serious limitation. Squarespace was happy to request I upgrade to the e-commerce subscription yet no conceivable way of having it work in South Africa!! Would have been great to know this before putting all the time and effort into building the shop page!!! as another person said they comfortably let you price in ZAR so it makes it seem possible. seems crazy now to try workaround two "middle men" and having to rebuild your shop to be able to integrate this and even then you wont know until you have set everything up... its all incredibly frustrating Edited June 17 by Vincent89 Link to comment
