Operating a Message Board

Our company wants to create a message board with y’all’s blog page. Is there a way to require an administrator’s approval to post on our message board? Or a way we can get a notification when someone posts?

Thank you for that, but it does not answer my question if it could take an admin approval on the chat rooms to comment (even as a guest) or if we could get an email notification when a comment has been said.
