Is there a way to move projects between portfolios in SS 7,1 ?

No.

I am disappointed that I cannot transfer Main Page projects onto a 2nd page using 7.1 Hopefully this issue will be considered and addressed by Squarespace. Another future hope is that the most recent photos (newest) can be uploaded (or be moved and remain in place more easily) into the galleries at the top (first viewed) so you don’t have to scroll through photos previously uploaded.

This makes little sense. Portfolio pages seem to be the same kind of object whichever portfolio they are in.

It looks like a low hanging fruit implementing this and a huge time saver for the users.

After deciding to split my work into a couple categories I am now tasked with redoing multiple pages from scratch just because there can't be a simple option in the "..." menu or settings for whatever reason.

It's one, two APIs, few DB calls and minimal UI changes. Maybe you'll have to make a modal and filtering down to Portfolio pages as options, oh wow)

Well now you can copy an individual project from a portfolio page. More correctly you can copy the sections of the content, but not the various project attributes. Save each section on the original project page, then create the new page in the usual way on the new portfolio. Then edit the new project page, and paste in the saved section into each section in the new project page (use the edit menu for the section and select "My Saved Sections"). . My project pages are each one section so this works pretty quickly. Also this is useful for creating different project pages from a "master" project page, editing text or image blocks as need be.
