diaph Posted February 15, 2022 Author Posted February 15, 2022 Just now, paul2009 said: No. Well that's a shame. Thanks for your feedback !
surfer Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 I am disappointed that I cannot transfer Main Page projects onto a 2nd page using 7.1 Hopefully this issue will be considered and addressed by Squarespace. Another future hope is that the most recent photos (newest) can be uploaded (or be moved and remain in place more easily) into the galleries at the top (first viewed) so you don’t have to scroll through photos previously uploaded.
SamanthaBlake Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 (edited) This makes little sense. Portfolio pages seem to be the same kind of object whichever portfolio they are in. It looks like a low hanging fruit implementing this and a huge time saver for the users. After deciding to split my work into a couple categories I am now tasked with redoing multiple pages from scratch just because there can't be a simple option in the "..." menu or settings for whatever reason. It's one, two APIs, few DB calls and minimal UI changes. Maybe you'll have to make a modal and filtering down to Portfolio pages as options, oh wow) Edited December 27, 2022 by SamanthaBlake
FlyDresser Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Well now you can copy an individual project from a portfolio page. More correctly you can copy the sections of the content, but not the various project attributes. Save each section on the original project page, then create the new page in the usual way on the new portfolio. Then edit the new project page, and paste in the saved section into each section in the new project page (use the edit menu for the section and select "My Saved Sections"). . My project pages are each one section so this works pretty quickly. Also this is useful for creating different project pages from a "master" project page, editing text or image blocks as need be. annferrera Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Still not possible? How is this different from moving products between stores? This is very frustrating, I must say... emalu 1
CoorlasArchitecture Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 Good Grief. So many oversights. I know there's a lot to program/code, but SS has some major misses... emalu 1
Noevu Posted August 28 Posted August 28 SS is unbelievably inconsistent! Filters here, but not there. Those you can move or copy, this not, tags work here, but not there. Here (I think it was products) you can set tags – but not display them enywhere (why even bother?!!!), search not working since years. you can copy a section but that setting won't copy… Here you have a form – but no follow up mails… The list goes on and on… I mean I love SS for its simplicity but some things are so obviously broken or missing, anyone who is seriously using it is just scratching her head.
