Updating published blog posts with new design

Over the last few months, I have been doing some site updates for a client on Squarespace. They are wanting to implement a new layout and styling for their blog posts (both regular blog posts as well as team member bio posts).

It doesn't appear that Squarespace has the concept of true templates. Based on various Google searches, it appears that we would need to manually make the updates on each post... either on the existing post or creating a new post with the desired styling and using it as the "template" to redo each entry. (tedious!!)

Is this correct or did I miss something?

I was thinking this was going to be easy for someone to confirm. Is there anyone that can confirm if the process I outlined is correct?
