How to remove image titles from gallery (no template)

I'd like to remove the image titles as I already have my own title over my images as .jpg file - as per my attached image I want to remove the Squarespace pink title 

I'm not using any template ad Iv'e tried a fee custom CSS codes but nothing works...any help is much appreciated!

Try adding to Home > Design > Custom Css

  display: none;
}
