digisun
Site URL: https://deosergeyisakov.com/ Hey, I want to make my index-gallery more flexible and organic, with different sizes for each thumbnail. (I attached a reference) Is there a way to do that ? I'm using "avenue" theme. Thank you! Edited February 7, 2022 by digisun Link to comment
meganheath
Hi @digisun You can create this layout using a summary block. Instead of an index-gallery, create a new page and add a summary block to display your gallery content. Select "Wall" for the summary block Design. Hope this helps. Link to comment
digisun
Thanks! but It's not exactly that.. I didn't want to create a new page to display another page (gallery). I wanted that my home page(works) would look like the layout I had attached before. In more flexible and organic way. not in a grid So I understand using Squarespace it's not possible to create something simple like this? Thank you! Edited February 8, 2022 by digisun Link to comment
meganheath
Hi @digisun According to the Avenue Template guide you could try set the layout to autocolumns. This will display your image in their original aspect ration. So if you resize your thumbnails to different size ratios before uploading them to the site you can create this layout style. Quote Choose Index thumb layout: autocolumns to create a mosaic effect based on the thumbnails' original aspect ratios. To create padding between images in Autocolumns, set the Thumbnail padding to 1% or more. Hope that helps. Link to comment
