Hi there! I was hoping you might be able to help.

I have a website page www.beemmunity.co/plants that I am looking to introduce a filtering feature to. Currently, the page is a blog page of native plants. I have a data set which lists each zip code in the US that each of these plants are native to. I want the ability on the page for users to type in a zip code, and the page filters out which plants are native to that zip code. I tried to use squarespace's search bar feature and put the list of zip codes as blog page tags. Squarespace doesn't let you put thousands of tags in unfortunately, it only worked for a few zip codes.

Would you know of any method I could use to introduce the filtering system? Is there anyway to pull tags from a dataset? Or maybe add tags in squarespace's html backend?

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks

What does the data look like? Is is specific to zip codes?

I guess my response could have been clearer!

I was trying to understand how many zip codes would need to be added to a single plant species, to understand the scale of the issue. For example, you could add a tag for each zip code to the post. This would allow you to filter results by zip code.

No prob thanks for your help! Sadly the number of zip codes for a few of the plants is around 30k or so, and as I'm sure you know squarespace doesn't allow that many tags.
