The Recharge platform is not compatible with Squarespace.

For subscriptions I've successfully integrated Moonclerk and SendOwl, although suitability will depend on your detailed requirements because subscription providers often have very different feature sets.  

Shopify also has extensive features for subscription products, including a number of third-party apps although you'd need to move to their platform to use them.
