cmrelocation
Site URL: https://cmrelocation.com/ Hi Squarespace, We are implementing SEO Report improvements for our client CM Relocation. we have been sending emails but without a reply. So we have to contact you through this forum. https://cmrelocation.com/ We need to improve these scores, please advise if this is something we can do as we have limited hosting control through Squarespace. 1. Security Score https://snyk.io/test/website-scanner/?test=220125_BiDcBE_b72f61657e612a304a37f4d128edde26&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=webpagetest&utm_campaign=website-scanner 2. https://www.webpagetest.org/performance_optimization.php?test=220125_BiDcBE_b72f61657e612a304a37f4d128edde26&run=3#cache_static_content 3. Please also advise if we can add breadcrumbs to every page on the website: https://cmrelocation.com/ We found breadcrumbs for Squarespace 7.1 but if there is any option for version 7.0? 4. Is there an extension we can use to optimize all images on the website in one click? https://cmrelocation.com/ Link to comment
cmrelocation
This is one of the suggestion we can find on Google to improve the Squarespace site speed. How we can upgrade to 7.1 more easily? Do we need to redesign the site with 7.1? We can see some information here, since like there is a possibility to redesign or break the site if we switch to 7.1. Please advice. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038270572-Moving-from-Squarespace-version-7-0-to-version-7-1 Speed optimization suggestion: 1. Use Squarespace 7.1 rather than 7.0 I’ve found that in general, Squarespace 7.1 is faster than 7.0. And, based on what Squarespace’s software engineers have been telling Squarespace designers in online forums, a lot of technical improvements are currently being made to Squarespace 7.1 to speed the platform up (with a view to ensuring that Squarespace sites eventually become compliant with Google’s new Core Web Vitals standards). Importantly, Squarespace has announced that these improvements won’t be made to the older 7.0 templates. Link to comment
