Adding Hyperlink to Custom Form

Sorry that I can't provide a URL - the site is not live yet.

I'm trying to add a hyperlink to the Custom Form during checkout. The hyperlink works in the preview but shows up as code when I go to the live site. Squarespace help says that it's beyond the scope of their support. Any tips?

This isn't possible.

The checkout page is sensitive because it processes payments so Squarespace lock it down and don't allow any code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and so on) to be added. You'll be able to do this on a standard form elsewhere, but not on a Custom Checkout Form.

I get asked this question a lot, so here's the more detailed answer.
