How to align index navigation bar to top of site

Hi there,

I'm looking to shift the index navigation bar that is on the homepage up to the top of the page while leaving the title "Eric Orr" in the center of the page. When I try to bump this up in the simple ways I know, it's taking the title with it. Is there a way to align this to the top?

I may have figured it out but it's defintely a janky solution (just whacked the margin down to -47vh) so if anyone has a better solution let me know
