Problem moving single event between events pages

Recently I've noticed an Events page bug (7.0/Montauk): the MOVE button appears only when two or more events are selected. If you select a single event, no MOVE button appears. In other words, you can't move one event at a time between pages, although you can move multiple events at once. So, if you're trying to move a single event, the workaround is to create a dummy event, select both events, move them both, and then delete the dummy event.

(I've sent this in to Support but have not yet heard back.)

This is a known issue, reported first on 23rd December 2021, described as "a technical issue that prevents the Move option from appearing unless more than one post is selected". 

This bug affects 7.1 and was introduced the UI was changed (checkboxes were added).

I have not yet heard a peep back from Support on this issue.
