Homepage Social Sharing Description

Hey all,

When sharing links on my site of pages like About, individual blog posts, Contact, etc, things seem to work fine. The social sharing image shows up, description I'd put in to the SEO description field shows up, etc.

However, nothing shows up for my homepage itself - sharing the URL doesn't generate any preview, social sharing image doesn't appear, description I've entered in to the SEO info on the site doesn't appear. Even text on the home page doesn't show up.

Anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong?  Thanks so much!

I'm experiencing the same issue you were describing - how did you resolve the issue? When I tested  https://www.trippingontravel.com/ on my own facebook and an image popped up (see attached).

lytmkt - I haven't resolved it yet. The description still doesn't show up. Looks like the image I put in as the social sharing image does appear on Facebook, at least. But I'm having issues getting that image showing up everywhere, and having issues getting the description to appear. Hopefully we can both get it figured out soon!
