How To Use <img> To Upload Photos Via The Code Block?

Hey guys. I am trying to add images to my site via html using the <img> tag.

I cannot for the life of me get it to work. Any image URL I try does not work. I have tried uploading to Imgur and using that link, still nothing. 

Can someone explain how I get the proper img url and how to get the images to show up?

I will give this a shot tomorrow when I am back on my work computer. That is the code I was trying, minus the "width" part, and I could not get anything to work. I will report back here when I try it tomorrow.

Here is what I get when I use the code. I first open the photo with Chrome so I can get the whole file path but it will not show the photo I am trying to display

The url in your screenshot is url in your pc folder file, not image url internet.
