Ally61659
Hello! I just created this account to ask this question so I am not sure how it works. Here is my issue. I would like to enable Squarespace comments for my site while disabling people to comment as a guest. For security reasons, I don’t like the idea that random people can comment without names. My blog is very personal, so it does not make sense for what I am doing. Unfortunately, however, every time I disable anonymous comments, the ability to comment on my blogs disappears completely. It appears that people can either comment on my blog with the decision to comment as a guest, OR not comment at all. Is there a way I can still require someone’s name while keeping commenting as an option? Link to comment

It is not currently possible for visitors to log in to comment. The comment field on blog posts now only appears on sites that have Allow anonymous comments enabled in Blogging > Comment settings. Ally61659
Thank you @paul2009! That is exactly what I needed to know. I will either try using disquis as an extension or just allow anonymous commenters. Link to comment
NostalgiaClub
I have tried every solution for this fix and I'm certain it's just sqaurespace that need to fix something on there end? In editing mode you can see the comment section then as soon as I press "done" it disappears completely... Link to comment
