I'm trying enable the ability to display links visitors can use to add events to their Google and Ical calendars. . There are instruction to turn this feature on here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206543837-Events-pages. We use version 7.0 and the instructions say the following:

  1. Open an events page.
  2. In the Home menu, click Design, then click Site styles.
  3. In the Events section, check Show export links.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

But when I go the Events section in Site Styles, "Show export links" isn't an option.  Here's a screenshot of the option I have:

Is there a reason the "Show export links" isn't appearing? Is there a way to make it appear, or is there another way to enable the links?

Thanks!

The Site Styles panel is context-sensitive, so you must be viewing an event in the preview panel (on the right) to see the relevant options (see below).

If you are doing this, and you've clicked the date/time area of the page and still cannot see the option, I recommend you contact Squarespace Customer Care. Your site is using a Squarespace 7.0 Brine-family template so the option should be available.

I have Show Export Links clicked in Site Styles but the Google Calendar links aren't showing on the event details.

They appear to be disabled in Custom CSS:

.eventitem-meta-address,.eventitem-meta-export {
    display: none !important;
}
