How difficult would this website be on Squarespace?

Is it possible to create a website on Squarespace that is similar to this site? https://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/

Needs to include:
- Catalog of products with the thumbnail images and "check it out" buttons leading to external websites
- Similar product landing pages as seen on https://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/dinosaur-pendant-necklaces/
- Home, categories and related products all with unlimited scrolling that all have the product grid set up

I am unfamiliar how customizable Squarespace is compared to Wordpress

This would require some custom coding to get the check it out button in there.

Yes it's possible using summary blocks. And these 2 plugins from SquareWebsites. 

1. Universal Filter: This will give you the categories and filtering function
2. Lazy summaries: This will give you the unlimited scroll
