AmandaW Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Hi, We included a button with a link in our email. The link worked perfectly and then after 24 hours it disappeared and says "Invalid link, The page you're looking for doesn't exist. ". We have made no changes to the link and it was working perfectly before. Do you have any advice? This has now happened to us twice. Thank you! Invalid link The page you're looking for doesn't exist.

_DaniC Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Was this ever resolved? The same thing has happened to me with multiple links
AndrewShaffer Posted March 27 Posted March 27 The same thing happened to me yesterday. When I tested the links in the test email, they all worked. Cut to after sending the email: all of the links in the emails are popping up as "invalid links." Here's a link to the campaign: https://www.tiffanyreisz.com/campaigns/view-campaign/qPEoyUsYkGdw1Hltg-ZZbEx2KVURQqiMbIBh8DqPXEj26LB44qMIBE3a3P3s9BRhP-RiILukNMO3eWPXSsRz64cBp3lDxxGj One of the links as input yesterday, and which was working yesterday in the test emails from squarespace, was: https://www.amazon.com/Wishing-Game-Novel-Meg-Shaffer/dp/0593598857/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1X58KWLMRV6D5&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.SJOOQ_tqfDFtf7FuQ8289iYvP3E7FotaJy3Bnb0JADg9JpfKmJsGuCuAg9AbuwTXQ3H2A2HFdwgxbqefia8aEt2jNYPC6alExl_N5ANPaBHhqHBD90-PhorojI7r9VaKDvO-5nCd9e7A0lAdWFSIPFZ19yJXUVeGCc_vRkhoBrgIyVtQLVJJJVwiWpr8LjvCv-WCgVw-HYQBctaf2F26OCNETMUarqxru7W3gVmjnzs.G9CIduBflN9QAJO4o7eYSFlzzNXy41mIcHPsu4bgX_s&dib_tag=se&keywords=meg+shaffer&qid=1711553797&sprefix=meg+shaffer%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-2 It appears that Squarespace added some "engagement code" in the e-mail that DID not appear in the test messages, overriding the link...and breaking them. All of them. (This is just one example.) https://a1e0.engage.squarespace-mail.com/r?m=6602e1a095807b3dc5bae335&u=https%3A%2F%2Fengage.squarespace-mail.com%2Fr%3Fm%3D6602d906e129ea08f71c1730%26u%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FWishing-Game-Novel-Meg-Shaffer%2Fdp%2F0593598857%2Fref%3Dtmm_pap_swatch_0%3F_encoding%3DUTF8%26qid%3D%26sr%3D%26w%3D61d317028fe2054bbb74e5bd%26c%3Db_6602d7e65bdd997028e3711d%26e%3D2024-03-27T14%3A17%3A44.741068Z%26l%3Den-US%26s%3Drh_r88VP6ewIDIECLYjB9mDR9Ss%3D&w=51251f1ce4b0cbd2cf325388&c=b_6602de601c16af1bbc004234&l=en-US&s=4E_nicZ3jejOtyQBAyzMzYG_NVc%3D Of course, the only link in the email that works is the one to www.squarespace.com. How...convenient. Completely unacceptable. This went out to 6,000 customers! All of whom received an email full of dead invalid links.
