Setting Item Price Based on API and Formula

I want to sell precious metals but to do so, I need the price of my product to constantly be changing. 

I want to integrate code that will source the spot price of metal from an API and do some calculations to derive the final price of the product.

If possible, the price should update once every 5 minutes.

Please let me know how I can do this

You may need to get squarespace API key with write permission for editting the product info, then a server to perform api call for fetching new price and update the product accordingly

You can use javascript to fetch content of the xml dynamically
