Full bleed portfolio images with hover over links???

Can anyone help with how to do full bleed images for a portfolio like in this example?

In Page Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for the page change the following ruleset from...

  margin : 5px;
  
  }

...to...

.page-section {

  margin-bottom : 5px;
  
  }

Is there a way to make the images a hover over link though?

@creedon or a way to make the top image I've put with the link with text over it instead of a caption?
