Artist/Brand/Manufacturer for Products Pages

Hello, on our shop we have Artworks and would also like to show the Artist for each item as a clickable link which then takes you to a separate 'Artists Profile page.

Is there a concept of Product Brand or Product Manufacturer attribute that we could use for this?

Any examples of templates would be appreciated...

There isn't a specific field for this, but you can add this functionality with a few of the standard Squarespace blocks.

For example, you can create an 'Artists' Blog Page where you can store a post for each artist's bio. This won't be a 'blog' - it's just a place where you can store their details. You can then link to the relevant blog post (Artist Bio) from each item of artwork they produced. This will allow visitors to visit their bio easily. You can manually do this by adding a link. (It would also be possible for a developer to write code to do this automatically.)

If you tag or categorise each piece of artwork with the artist's name, you will be able to pull examples of their artwork into their bio automatically using a Summary Block.
