rpaule93
Site URL: https://beckyevans.com I need to add a second announcement bar to my site. I know this is not possible using the squarespace options available. Can this be done with html? If so, how? We don't want to get rid of our COVID-19 resources announcement bar but want to add an unrelated promotional link that can be seen on mobile without being buried in the navigation menu. Alternatively, I'd like to add a button or very thin banner near the top of my home page only for the non-desktop viewers. The link in the second announcement bar is the same thing as the last menu item. We just don't want it hidden in the sandwiched menu for mobile. Link to comment
edharris
Options are limited on Squarespace 7.0 rather than 7.1. Have you considered using the Promotional Pop-up functionality to make sure the Donate CTA is in front of mobile users? You could hide it above the mobile breakpoint using CSS... If you were on 7.1, the mobile header menu layout options accommodate a button in addition to the hamburger menu – worth bearing in mind if you were thinking of jumping from 7.0 to 7.1. - Ed -- Blue Hills DigitalSupport with website optimization, SEO and finding a digital marketing strategy that works.
