SS makes my images blurry?

Hi All - I've uploaded a png file that is perfectly crisp on my computer, but then when I upload it to squarespace it is for some reason blurry. I followed the image guidelines. Infuriating.

Why on earth would it be blurrier on SquareSpace than the original? It's the same file...

Appreciate any help - the images are perfectly high resolution, but for some reason SquareSpace is downsampling them somehow...

Hi All - I'm at my wits end, appreciate any guidance.

Our images at 1850 px wide. On our computers they are perfectly crisp. When we put them on SS however, they are blurry, see all images here: https://purlwiselabs.com/how-it-works. Attached is one of the original files.

This looks extremely unprofessional. We've tried with and without lightbox, captions, etc. We've even tried custom CSS as suggested here: https://kerstinmartin.com/blog/png

Nothing so far has worked. Despite our monthly fees, SS also provides no customer support. Anyone who has advice it would help a lot! Thanks!

Was this resolved? I have the same issues. used the debugger, no help. currently waiting for support to assist....

Having the same issue, all of my uploaded images look terrible. They are very blurry, fuzzy edged, some of them appear with a white haze around them. I brought them into Webflow and have no issues there.
