Theme 7.1 Custom Product Builder Page Template

Hi,

I'm new to squarespace commerce and I would like to know if it is possible to create custom page template on a theme using 7.1. I need to create a product builder in javascript and find it hard to find the dev documentation. I have a few questions

  • Is there a javascript API to add product to the cart?
  • Is it possible to create custom page and code in 7.1? I found documentation for 7.0 only
  • Anyone ever built a product builder in Squarespace? Like Step 1 choose a bike, Step 2 choose a set of pedals that goes with the bike, step 3 select the tires then checkout...

Squarespace 7.1 doesn't have a Developer Mode. It's a consumer platform and isn't the ideal platform to create a product builder. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it would be much easier on other platforms.
