7.1 portfolio hover on mobile

Hi,

I currently am using the hover:background layout with my portfolio page on desktop and would like to have the hover effect visible on mobile when I scroll down or use a different layout like hover:fixed or hover:follow cursor. Is this possible/is there code to make this happen? I looked at past questions that addressed this from several months ago but wasn't able to find an answer.

My page is https://flugelhorn-pear-4c6h.squarespace.com/ and the password is square.

On mobile, we have no cursor pointer, therefore the browser only control the hover effect by tapping on screen, hold for time.

I think it requires some Js code (only available with Business Plan or higher) to implement what you intend to do

Thanks @bangank36! I do have the business plan so I can use JS. Do you know of any resources where I can look that up? I understand I can't do the hover without the cursor, but maybe use one of the other portfolio layouts for mobile?

Kindly give the direct link to the gallery you mentioned. It could be better if we can have a screenshot of it

@bangank36 it's my home page: https://flugelhorn-pear-4c6h.squarespace.com/ (pw: square). So the home page would look different on mobile and not as static since I can't do hover:background for Mecca & Medina, Street, etc. I hope that makes sense!

@bangank36 is there any extra information I can give that might help with this?
