Image size keeps changing with css code changes

I'm creating a mock-up design. I'm trying to fix the green "healing pain" image's position but for some reason it only changes the size of the image.

In the first photo you can see that margin-left is at auto but when I change it to 100px the image got bigger.

I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks in advance!

@tuanphan I want to be able to change image size and the position of the images. I want to be able to change the image sizes without the margin and padding codes making an impact on them. each image is also slightly different sizes and their numbers are not at all the same. Height and width for each image is all different. For example, both images should be the same height and width. But when I've coded them the same height and width they are visually completely different sizes. For some reason when I change the padding and margin codes to the images, the image size would then visually change and then in the end their code would look something like this; image 1 {height: 100px, width: 150px, padding: 10px;}, Image 2: {height: 80px, width: 180px, padding: 50px, margin:100px;}.

I want to be able to change the position of the images but can't since it only makes the image bigger or smaller.

Sorry, if this is hard to understand. Thank you for keeping up and helping out.
