Is there a way to connect seperate image blocks on a page to act like a gallery?

I have a few pages where I had to a custom layout where I had to use indivudal image blocks vs using one of the built in Gallery blocks.  Is there a way using custom CSS or otherwise, that if you click on one of the images on the pages, when the lightbox opens up that it would allow you to click through to the next image on the page?
