Changing my active site.

Recommended Posts

Hi, not sure how best to explain this but basically I already have an up and running site that i made a while back and now want to have a fresh look but keep the domain and backend stuff the same.

I have made a trial site that I am happy with and want to take down the old one a put this new one into action.

Im not sure if im missing something obvious and it's really easy but I cant seem to figure it out.

If possible i would like to avoid upgrading from the trial to an active site before making this replace my old one as i would prefer to keep costs to a minimum.

Thanks for your help!

If you have a Squarespace version 7.0 site and want to refresh your site, you can use the template preview feature to apply a different 7.0 template.

If you have a Squarespace version 7.0 site and want to move to version 7.1, you'll need to start a trial on 7.1 and create your site’s new design here. When you’re satisfied with your new site and ready to go live, you'll need to upgrade the trial to a new paid service. It isn't possible to transfer subscriptions from one site to another so you'll need to move the domain to the new site to make it live. When you're ready you can cancel your original site subscription. The content of your canceled site will then be marked for permanent deletion.
