Create a new text style in Bedford template?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to add another text style in the Bedford template? I'd like to simply use the "Normal" style in a smaller type size for footnotes on multiple pages. But the text style offers just options: Header 1, Header 2, Header 3, and Normal ("Code" is not an option). Is there some way to add a new "Footnote" style? Or at least to reduce the type size of Normal - only in the footnotes? I may be stuck just italicizing. But that's not a great compromise.

You can try Markdown to achieve this, with syntax similar this

  • #### enter text (#### is h4, ##### is h5, ###### is h6, # is h1, ## is h2, ### is h3)
  • or to reduce size, use this syntax
  • ## here is h2 with <span style="font-size:10px;">smaller text</span>
