Google Showing Blog Posts Aren't Indexable (Robots)

Hi, I have a client that has a ton of blog posts, and around 60 of them are not getting indexed. Google attributes this to the urls being marked no index (I provided one example). Anyone else seeing this? We have our blog posts toggled to be included in search results, so there's no great explanation for it.

Hi @LaurenWS - confirming, do you have access to this domain property in Google Search Console? If so, take a look at the Coverage report and confirm that the excluded URLs have the status "Excluded by 'noindex' tag"? In this report, you can see the last crawled date for the URLs listed. If it's a while ago, you could request reindexing for those URLs. This doesn't guarantee Google will rush to index them right away, but it's the best you can do.

Hope that helps.

Ed

I have the same error code in my analytics reports.  It shows the error code was first detected just yesterday on Oct 24, 2023.  However in the same area that Ed included an screen shot of, under "examples",   the "last crawled" date in my area under examples is much older, so that date doesn't mean much in my opinion.  I'm not sure how that date could even be relevant since my error was first detected just yesterday. I am more interested in how to determine which page(s) it is referring to and how to fix it.  Can anyone help with this?  I am also concerned why the site map I submitted is also showing status as "couldn't fetch"  on this report too?  Can anyone help with these issues?
