Location services within iframes

My site is just a single page with one code block in it at the moment, but have hit an early snag, my site has a location field, which gets the location of the device and fills it in as a google maps widget, it works fine when accessing the site directly but within SP it never gets the location, I see no error messages or prompts to allow access to location. Is this something I need to turn on / give permissions to in the setup.
