Form customisation at checkout

Recommended Posts

I'm setting up a paid service which includes capturing details to start an email sequence in Active Campaign. The issue is, when adding a form at checkout it goes into the Squarespace system, there is no way of connecting it through Zapier to feed the data to Active Campaign. Has anyone found a way around this? Another option is to re-direct customers after payment to a page with a standard Squarespace form but this also can't be done within the system. Can anyone help?

You can try integromat or automate.io which has squarespace support, they can notify when new order come

To add to what has already been said, Squarespace has an Orders API that allows a developer or a service to check for new orders (or be notified of them) and then retrieve order information. Using this, and a third party RPA tool like the ones that @bangank36 mentioned, you can therefore pull any of the details that were provided, including the email address from step 1 of the checkout, or other information that you request in a Custom Checkout Form.

Thank you, this is really helpful, can you recommend a developer to help set this up for us?

I'm not the best person to recommend one (as a developer myself, I never need to hire one!) but I'm surprised that no-one has DM'd you to put themselves forward. That said, 2020/21 has been the busiest period that I've ever known so they may just be fully booked.
