Guest Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Site URL: https://monmonidesigns.com.au I am setting up my Squarespace website and noticed that my site name is missing a letter! I can not find where to change this! As you can see my site name is 'Mon Moni design' (missing an 's' after design) and my website is monmonidesigns.com.au Can someone help please?
edharris Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Hi @MonMoni - for the homepage only, you can adjust this in the field labeled "SEO Title" right below the section shown in your screenshot! Guest Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 ah!! thank you. I didn't know we could change that part. All done. 🙂
Collaborada Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 Hi @MonMoni. The source code shows the site title is still missing the "s" -- follow these SS 7.1 directions to update the field: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205815838-Adding-a-site-title#tabs-1 Note, you duplicated page titles across the site. Currently they all read "Pages - Mon Moni Designs," but they should be unique. You'll want to use the default Squarespace variables and/or override on a page by page basis. As is, Google will prob rewrite the titles when/if the pages are indexed: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/appearance/title-link Building high-performance websites with expert SEO for local and national reach.
