grantekilgard Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Site URL: https://www.rezo-zero.com/agency/ Hello All, I know this is kind of a long shot, but I love how this website https://www.rezo-zero.com/agency/ manages to use transitions to go to different pages. For example, when going to different pages from the navigation bar, the next page floats in from the bottom of the screen. Is something like this achievable on SquareSpace? I'm trying to apply this to my portfolio site grantekilgard.com. Thank you in advance!
Wolfsilon Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 That whole website screams "I'm made with GSAP!" The short answer is no, you won't be able to use Squarespace in this way, at least not out of the box. In theory, you could do something like this on Squarespace and I'm sure you could hire someone to do it. But this whole project would look more like a custom application than anything and you'd be better off building the site from scratch and not using Squarespace at all if you really want something to look and feel like this website. Depending on your website version (7.0 preferably), you might be able to get closer to page transition effects and I've certainly seen designers here integrate them, again. You'd most likely need to hire someone. -- Just a note: Taking a look at your website, nothing is loading for me, it's just a giant white screen.
milan Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Hey @grantekilgard that's a cool transition. It's definitely something that would need to be done completely custom by a developer, but it is possible to do in Squarespace. I saw Square Refresh has something a long the lines where it's a slide up transition between pages which might be a good solution. https://squarerefresh.com/plugins/page-transition
