Connecting Teespring Site with Squarespace Domain

I recently launched my Spring merch site now that tI have 10K subs on YouTube. I am also trying to connect to my Squarespace site.  I was trying to set up a custom domain via Spring site but keep getting error on the Squarespace side. My guess is I need to use a subdomain? Not sure how to approach it. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you ever get a solution for this? I'm having the same exact issue. The domain says its connected on the Teespring side, but when we go to it, it's not found. Not sure what is going wrong.
