GregTex
Site URL: http://getgreg.live Hi. New user. First site I've built. So, yeah, here comes a total newbie question/issue. I've entered my site in the Google Search Console. It's taking time as I've learned it does. Out of curiosity I took a look at my XML map (that I submitted through GSC) and it is loaded with repetitive image info that, I would assume, cannot be good for SEO purposes. I'll paste a bit of it below (I edited the actual image URLs). 1) How do I fix this? I cannot find a way to edit this info associated with the images. 2) Is this even a big deal? Thanks, Greg <image:loc>https://static1.squarespace.com/static/......jpg</image:loc> <image:title>Popular Trainings - Make it stand out</image:title> <image:caption>Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.</image:caption> </image:image> <image:image> <image:loc>https://static1.squarespace.com/static/......jpg</image:loc> <image:title>Popular Trainings - Make it stand out</image:title> <image:caption>Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.</image:caption> </image:image> <image:image> <image:loc>https://static1.squarespace.com/static/......jpg</image:loc> <image:title>Popular Trainings - Make it stand out</image:title> <image:caption>Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.</image:caption> </image:image> Link to comment
Solution ChristineDarby Posted November 2, 2021 Solution Share Posted November 2, 2021 This has been happening for months. It is demo content. Change the image block from inline to another image style, remove the demo text, then go back to inline. Squarespace's own sitemap is full of the same. More info here. ★ Official Squarespace Specialist since 2014 ★ SEO Consulting and Training ★ Link to comment
