Hi,

My organization is building out a new homepage and we're running into a problem with the gallery image/banner on top. We're trying to have the text on that image align left so it doesn't cover the girl's face, but despite having it be "top left aligned" in design, it keeps showing up as centered. Any advice would be much appreciated - thanks!

Is it the result you want to achieve?

It's close -we were hoping that header and the text at the bottom could both be left-aligned and, if possible, closer to the left margins of the image (but not sure if Squarespace is able to do that).

Try adding to Design > Custom CSS

.has-promoted-gallery #promotedGalleryWrapper .sqs-gallery-block-slideshow .meta .meta-description p, .has-promoted-gallery .promoted-gallery-wrapper .sqs-gallery-block-slideshow .meta .meta-description p {
    width: 100% !important;
    text-align: left;
}

This worked great, thank you! One question - it's now doing this for all pages on the site. Is there any way to make this work only on the homepage?

Prefix it with

.homepage
