AlBundy Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Site URL: https://www.sector-21.com/ Hello, I downloaded an audio player that i really like for our website. However i need to install its content on the root of our website. I accessed our FTP server (linked to our domain) and uploaded the content. But the website doesn't see it. So i went and did an experiment creating a "test" folder to see if i could just access it with a direct link, it turns our it doesn't work as i get this error message: Quote We couldn't find the page you were looking for. This is either because: There is an error in the URL entered into your web browser. Please check the URL and try again. The page you are looking for has been moved or deleted. You can return to our homepage by clicking here, or you can try searching for the content you are seeking by clicking here. Our website is www.sector-21.com/ On the FTP i created a folder called "test", so the address to access it is www.sector-21.com/test As i am new to squarespace, it seems like it bypasses my domain and FTP and completely disregards my FTP. Let me know if i am right. Then, my issue is, how can i get my squarespace hosted website to access these FTP files to get my audio player working. Thanks for helping out. Cheers,
derricksrandomviews Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 FTP requires developer mode which is not available with a 7.1 site which yours is one of. You might consider using Dropbox integration: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206543287-Connecting-Dropbox-to-Squarespace
AlBundy Posted October 26, 2021 Author Posted October 26, 2021 Hello, Thank you for your help. I had a look, but when i follow the instructions, right at the start when going for "Connect Account", Dropbox doesn't appear in the proposed list...
derricksrandomviews Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 I apologize but it seems I got it backwards. Dropbox works with 7.0 not with 7.1 This service will work with 7.1: https://massive.io/
