It must be so obvious I'm missing it. How do I replace the stock photo in a blog layout with my own image?

I must be having a "slow" day, but I just don't see it.

I did as follows:

1. Next to Main Navigation, click on the "+" icon
2. Under Collections, click on "Blog"
3. Choose one of the generic blog layouts
4. Choose a title for the blog.
5. Click on the stock image, expecting to see an option to delete the image that I want to replace...

....But it just isn't there.  There is an edit "pencil" icon, and I click on that, but I don't see any option to delete and replace the image, nor any other option except "Add Section".

So where is the option to replace an image? What am I missing
