How to setup shop selector to show only available items

Hi,

Could anyone please advice, how it would be possible to set up the shop section to show at selectors only product choices what are available. For example if for Product I have 3 different colors and sizes L and XL are available only for 1 of the colors. Selector shows the choice of both sizes for all colors and if you choose it, it shows that product is not available, but still its confusing if there are many options.

Is it possible to setup store in a way that in selector unavailable choices are greyed out or not available at all?

This isn't possible when you have more than one variant option (for example size and colour).

I appreciate this isn't what you want to hear, but hopefully an accurate answer is better than no answer.

No. It isn’t something you can achieve on Squarespace - even with code/plugins.
