Changing a single page background color

I want to change the home, about us and contact page background to black.
I tried every single code injection and css i found online and non if them worked!, I have a basic plan.

hey thanks for asking , I tried using that, but it changes the background for every page on the website while I only want to change 3 pages only. am I using it wrong?

You don't need to change bg just change section theme to dark:

Repeat it for each section on Home page
