Remover hover box in slide show gallery on iPad.

I am using slide show gallery in 7.0. On a computer the hover box appears when the mouse is on the image, which is fine. However, on iPad the box is always there. I would like to remove the hover box altogether when the site is viewed on an iPad. How can I do that?
