Adding E-mail to Mailchimp - Does anyone know how to make the new person 'tagged' in Mailchimp?

I want to make it so when someone signs up on a certain form, they don't just go to an audience, but they go to an audience and are tagged. How do I do this?

Have you use Zapier before? it's a low code tool that may help with this issue.

If you are familiar with javascript, store submission on a google spreadsheet and call Mailchimp api to assign tags there is another option, I used this to tag order using Squarespace Commerse API for other project
