Shop Product description in one line!?

how i can make Shop Product overview description in one line!?

Like in the image below (green line)

So if the description is to long it show three dots ...

You can try the following code in Home > Design > Custom Css

  text-overflow: ellipsis;
  white-space: nowrap;
  overflow: hidden;
  line-height: 2em;
}

Sorry for dredging up an old question, but this is potentially the answer I'm hoping to implement, however, my product overview doesn't display the Description text, just the title and price (which I've overridden with CSS). I only show Where is this display setting in 7.0?

This is what I have in CSS:

.product-quantity-select,
.sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper {
 display:none; }
.product-price { display:none!important }

Can you share your site again so we can take a glance at it?

This is the site:  Adopt — Fur-Angel Foundation (furangelfoundation.org)  Having the first line of the Description field (the adoption status) appear below the product image would be so ideal.

Maybe I misunderstood.  Is the original post showing summary blocks?

I don't see Description in frontend. Can you take a screenshot when you add description in editing mode?
