Change content width on list auto template - 7.1

I have created a client side with the content width set to M. I've just added in a section using the list auto template it looks as though and the content is displaying with a content width of L, but there is no option to change it. 

The only options are as per attached images, the content width part changes the content spacing within the card only, not the actual section. 

Any help appreciated!

Have you tried the way to modify list in my video yet? Is this what you mean?

Thanks for this but I was referring to the spacing on the left and right side of the page rather than the blocks within it. I ended up changing the rest of the site to match!
