Description of an Image

Hello,

I’m making a portfolio using the Beaumont theme. My knowledge of making websites is very basic, so please excuse my terminology. I’d like to have just one gallery section (as it is now on the homepage), with no text blocks under images. I’d like to have each image open in a separate window and only then have a short description of the content (project, year etc) written underneath. I enabled the lightbox option, and figured out where to type the image title and image description…but the description doesn’t show in the lightbox, only on the main gallery page. Any suggestions/ideas?
